Appointments

Online booking

We are in the process of developing our online appointments booking system.  Currently we are able to offer a restricted range of appointment types to be booked online.  We expect to increase this range in the near future.

Face-to-face/telephone booking

bpCircumstances permitting we can usually offer face-to-face or telephone appointments on the day, although not always with the doctor of choice

Most doctors have some pre-bookable appointments for 2-3 weeks ahead - these do get booked up fairly quickly

If you do not need a face-to-face consultation you can book a telephone appointment with a doctor or nurse. These are booked in the same way as a surgery appointment - in other words, they may be booked in advance. We will take your number and the doctor will ring you at or near the agreed time

PLEASE NOTE we are unable to contact you if your phone is call barred as our number is automatically withheld so please bear this in mind when leaving your contact number

Requests for home visits will initially be triaged by a practice nurse in the mornings or by the on-call doctor in the afternoons

Surgery appointments for practice nurses and other clinics may usually be made in advance
